The children in Gan Shira had a great time making "W's" using white shaving cream!

Studies in Oxegyn

Today, we observed what happens to a flame when its oxygen supply is cut off. After discussing what things require oxygen to exist, the children observed what happens when they breath in oxygen and breath out carbon dioxide. Just having fun- not hyperventilating!

The race is on!

Gan Shira had so much fun spinning the sivivon and seeing which letter it landed on most. As they graphed their results they were able to see which letter won.

Getting Ready for Thanksgiving!

Gan Shira has been very busy learning about and preparing for Thanksgiving! Your children have been busy learning about patterns and decorating their Native American headdresses, tunics and rainsticks!

Friday Fun!

On Friday, we completed out building unit. To celebrate, we played a building game- we are getting really great at taking turns! For snack, we had so much fun building marshmallow structures using toothpicks and then deconstructing them in order to eat them!

Cookies!

We had so much fun decorating our "cookies"! Please keep an eye out for them. In case you don't see it the word is cooperate. We encourage you to start your own cookie jars at home for the "cookies" that your children will bring home.
